Pratik, that's a really good point. QBs are tending to fall in value relative to WRs. There's a lot of mediocre QBs in the mid to late rounds that are pretty much indistinguishable. Romo seems to be in that pack now.

When extracting the reasons behind a drop in a persons value lets just not base it on the external news that is going on. Don't forget to take a close look at the position that person plays. I believe the drop from 3rd round to 5th/6th round for Romo can be attributed to the following two things.

1. The increase of players drafting on value which then leads to the decline of quarterbacks value in general.

and

2. The availability of quality WRs versus quality QBs. If you are in a 12 team draft (I will assume is average) that means you can draft a top 10 QB and still have the 3 worst QB in the league (simply because there are only 12 quarterbacks starting every week). On the flip side of that coin there are 36 wrs starting every week (in a 12 team 3 wr league) which means Owens' value could've dropped from being a top 10 wr to the #15 wr but still be worth the same in fantasy football..

just something to take into consideration.

Even predicting his decline this season, I didn't expect Tony Romo's ADP to drop as fast as it has. Middle rounds, you say? That's just too tempting for a guy that's shown the potential to crank out the fantasy points. If Roy Williams gets his act together, even better. That might just play right into my hands in a few leagues.
