If I am in a re-draft I'll take Warner. While everyone points to Rivers' consistency, no one is more consistent when healthy, which of course is the rub. For me it's two things...the receiving corp in Arizona is by far the better and deeper one, and they are a passing team. Beanie Wells can't block for himself, and that's a big part of AZ's rushing woes.

Warner underwent arthroscopic surgery on May 19th. That might help explain the dip in the ADP.

I would take Rivers anyway. He seems to be more consistent.

I would probably go with Warner for the fact that I have retained Fitzgerald in my keeper league and they are a pass heavy offense. I like having the TD hookup with a QB/WR combo and it has always went well for me. And lets not forget that the reason Rivers had so much success last year was because LT wasn't 100%. So Norv increased the passing plays. Norv Turner is a run first guy and you will see a decrease in Rivers passing this year. Not because of talent but because of play calling. Of course as long as LT stays healthy.

Warner probably has more upside but Rivers has less downside.

Basically depends on if your a risk taker or not.

The biggest factor for me is whether or not I already have other players from that team. For example, if I draft Larry Fitzgerald or Anquan Boldin, I would probably stay away from Warner. If I draft Rivers, I'm probably going to avoid Vincent Jackson and Antonio Gates for the same reason. Never a good idea to use too many high picks on players from one team, because the NFL is very unpredictable.
