Upgraded servers, Caused a few bugs

Today, the site had significant server upgrades to help handle the high traffic of the upcoming season.  It was also the final step of switching over from Amazon hosting over to Linode.  This is in response to the issues described in my post about downtime back in April.  The site is now on more reliable hardware and takes more frequent off-site backups.

However, most of the day today had glitches due to software bugs with the mock drafts and premium applications that were caused by the upgrade.  Those issues have now all been fixed, and it looks like everything is running smoothly.  I apologize for the bugs that happened today.

Anyway, this is hopefully the last administrative blog post I’ll need to write this year.  With this migration complete, there should be more time for traditional fantasy football related posts in the near future.

Not sure if you are aware but the drafts are not saving. Its been like that for awhile now. I have tried deleting some old ones but still no new ones show up.

We can’t get on the mock drafts either – today or yesterday. Please fix this!!

I have been able to draft for weeks now, but today no such luck. I want to draft !!!! Please fix

I apologize for all of the problems. I’m working on replying to everyone’s emails.

First, there was an issue with the drafts not being saved, but that has been fixed. Check your dashboard now and they should be there.

If you’re having a problem getting into the drafts, please send an email or use the contact form.

If it’s been 5 days and you haven’t gotten a reply, then please feel free to send another email.

Sorry again, I’ll have another blog update soon.

I click on a draft position and choose a team name and click “join draft.” It takes me to the same screen with a yellow warning bar stating “Please choose a draft position and team name.” I’m stuck in a loop.

i select a draft position, team name and hit enter. i get sent back to the same screen. then it tells me the draft position is taken. this has been going on for the past week. HELP i”m tired of this bs

It’s good comedy, watching people bitch about demanding a free website service be fixed with no input or resources of their own being added to the solution.

I signed up for the premium membership and can’t get the draft simulator to run without hanging up.
