If you continue to have problems logging in to your account, please send an email to support@fantasyfootballcalculator.com describing your problem.

Finding drafted teams

If you're not logged in then the draft will not be registered to you. Also, it may take up to 30 minutes after the draft to import teams to your user page. If it has been more than 30 minutes since the conclusion of the draft and your team still does not appear, send an email to support@fantasyfootballcalculator.com describing the problem.

Importing drafted teams to the Lineup Calculator

When clicking on a team name in the 'My Mock Drafts' list, the team automatically populates the Lineup Calculator. Changes to the team are saved automatically, but the original team's fantasy points will always be displayed in the summary user page.

Lineup Calculator

Summary

The Lineup Calculator is used to analyze roster transactions and determine who to start each week.

Player Views

There are four views to view player information: fantasy points, playing status, opponent, and location. The colors for each row indicate the player's position. The shading indicates whether that player is projected to have an average, good game or bad game. Light shading indicates a bad game, dark shading a good game, and normal shading an average game. Shading for past weeks shows whether the player had a good or bad matchup at the time.

Analyze Trades and Adds/Drops

The Lineup Calculator can analyze the effect of a trade or add/drop on your roster.

Add a player to your roster with the box at the top of the page. Begin to type the player's name and they will show up in the drop-down box.

Fantasy Football Lineup Calculator Add Player

Drop a player by either typing their name in the drop box, or clicking the Lineup Calculator Drop Button button by their name:

Fantasy Football Lineup Calculator Drop Player

For instance, to analyze the effect of the trade on this specific team of receiving Reggie Bush in exchange for Andre Johnson, you would add Reggie Bush to the Add/Drop box as described above and drop Andre Johnson.

Fantasy Fooball Lineup Calculator Move Box

At this point, the transaction is not final. The box shows what the effect would be on your lineup if the trade was final. The box shows the average effect it has on your team, and the graph to the right shows the effect it will have on your starter's projected points every week:

In this case, the trade would be beneficial to your team and would increase your team's fantasy points by an average of 1.5 fantasy points per week.

Edit League Settings

The league settings are editable by clicking the link at the top near the team name. Clicking that link will bring up this dialog box:

Fantasy Lineup Calculator Edit Settings View

Editable options include three types of flex lineups, yards, TDs, receptions, interceptions, sacks, 2pt conversions, and field goal distances. After you've modified your settings, click submit. Another dialog will pop up indicating that the page will be refreshed so that the new settings can be applied to your team.

Saving Teams

If you are a member, a new team is automatically saved. Every move you make for a new team is saved and when you return to your user page the changes will be reflected in your list of Lineup Calculator Teams. To save teams, you must have a membership for 2008.

Using the Draft Calculator

You will then be taken to the draft room. It is identical to a mock draft room except that:

  1. There is no clock. After the draft board loads, you can take as much time as you would like (days even) to make each draft pick.
  2. There are no computer picks. You must manually make every pick yourself.
  3. You can input all team names. All team names can be set to make it easier to track your full draft.
  4. Choose between standard and PPR/Flex settings. The rankings will reflect the settings option you choose.

Stopping the Draft Calculator

When the draft is done, a dialog box will appear. Clicking 'OK' will return you to your user page. There, your recently completed draft will appear in your list of teams for the Lineup Calculator:

Hosted Drafts

Summary

Hosted drafts are used to create custom private drafts for you and your league mates. As the commish, you can configure:

  • Date and time of the draft
  • Number of teams and rounds
  • Customize or disable the timer
  • Pause the draft
  • Override and undo draft picks for all teams
  • Creating a Draft

To create a draft, first go to the Host Online Draft page on your Dashboard. Fill in all fields. The settings can be adjusted up until 30 minutes before the draft, except for the number of teams. If you need to change the number of teams you'll have to create a new draft. Click the "Create Draft" button when you're finished.

    Create a Hosted Draft

After you click the "Create Draft" button, you will be taken to a page where you can assign teams and send invites. Click the link under the Email Address column to email an invite to your league's members.

Assign teams for a hosted draft

When you click on "Send Invite", an email will be sent to that person with the custom password for that draft spot and link to the draft.

Hosted Draft Invite Hosted Draft Invite Email

The person will need to create a free account on Fantasy Football Calculator first. After they have done that, they can go back to the draft lobby to enter the password for their draft spot. If the password is correct, then they will be able to set their team name on the next page.

    Claim a team

The Draft Lobby will open 30 minutes before the start of the draft.

Draft settings are locked from editing 30 minutes before the draft starts.

    Draft Day

Each member of the draft will need to enter the draft through the Draft Lobby. The link to the Draft Lobby is in the Draft Invitation email and on the commish's dashboard. The password only needs to be used when claiming a team. Once the team is claimed, each member will have a button in the Draft Lobby that says Enter Draft.

    Enter Hosted Draft

The countdown will run down to the scheduled draft time, and the draft will begin. Once the draft begins, the Commish has the ability to pause or resume the draft.

The Commish can override picks for any claimed team in the draft. This means, if you are hosting a live draft party the Commish can make picks for all of the teams (but he will need to claim all of the teams first). The Commish can also undo picks for any claimed if needed.

The draft results will be saved to the Hosted Drafts tab of your Dashboard under Finished Hosted Drafts. The link to the finished drafts can be sent to anyone (including those who aren't members at Fantasy Football Calculator).

    FAQ

Who needs to purchase the Commish Membership?
Only the Commish. No one in the league besides the Commish is required to purchase anything.

What do my league's members need to do to be able to join my hosted draft?
All members will need to have an internet connection and a free membership with Fantasy Football Calculator to participate in your hosted draft. If the member does not have at least a free account with Fantasy Football Calculator, they will need to create one before they are able to click the link and claim a team.

What are the options for the timer settings?
    The options are 0:30, 0:45, 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, 2:30, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00. Or disable the timer.

Does Fantasy Football Calculator select the draft order?
No. You have to generate the draft order yourself.

Can I set up keepers in the round they were selected in previous years?
No. The Commish can enter keepers in the beginning rounds of the draft board, but there is currently not an option to set them up throughout the draft.

What if someone bails on my league and I need to invite someone else?
Contact support to have this team cleared from that draft spot.
