Christian McCaffrey Ready To Rebound In Week 9

Saturday, November 1, 5:18 AM

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey turned in his worst game of the season in Week 8. Against the Texans, McCaffrey toted eight carries for 25 yards and caught three of six targets for 43 receiving yards, all season lows and interrupting his streak of seven consecutive RB1 finishes to start the 2025 season. McCaffrey, being who he is, there is hope for a rebound in Week 9 against the New York Giants. Last week, the Giants gave up 174 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns to Saquon Barkley (groin) in three quarters of work and another 104 rushing yards to backup Tank Bigsby. Unfortunately, San Francisco's offensive line does not compare to Philadelphia's elite unit and will be missing starting center Jake Brendel (hamstring). Still, McCaffrey is one of the league's most dynamic playmakers, and if he is on your fantasy roster, he should be in the starting lineup for Week 9.

Chimere Dike Ascending As Go To Option For Tennessee

Wednesday, October 29, 9:31 AM

Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Chimere Dike is coming off his best game of the season in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts, catching seven of eight targets for 93 yards. Dike has taken advantage of his opportunities, and that's been acknowledged by the team's offensive coordinator, Nick Holz, who said that he's "going to be a really good player in this league." The 23-year-old played a season high 88.1% of snaps and had an 86% route share, only trailing fellow rookie Elic Ayomanor. The fourth rounder out of Florida has elite 4.34 speed with the ability to win downfield and be a threat with the ball in his hands. With Tyler Lockett now with the Raiders and Calvin Ridley battling a hamstring injury, Dike could emerge as the team's top receiving option over the second half of the season.
