Arizona Cardinals running back Corey Clement has been elevated to the active roster ahead of the Week 9 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. The Cardinals have decided to bring up the veteran back as a reinforcement with Emari Demercado (toe) ruled out for this game. The expectation is that Keaontay Ingram will get a majority of the snaps in the backfield. Possibly, Clement gets mixed in a little, but it shouldn't be enough to warrant streaming in any fantasy formats.

However, it may paint a bigger picture, potentially signaling an impending absence by Jerome Ford (ankle), who remains questionable for Week 8. Fortunately for Cleveland, Kareem Hunt (thigh) was removed from the injury report, so he'll be the No. 1 option out of the backfield versus the Seahawks. Pierre Strong Jr. should also get some work, so fantasy managers shouldn't consider adding Wilkins in any format, considering the move was likely made purely for depth purposes.
