Keith Kirkwood Waived By Saints

Saturday, November 11, 9:25 PM

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Keith Kirkwood has been waived by the organization on Saturday. This isn't surprising as Kirkwood's snaps have been taking a hit over the last month or so. He was a healthy scratch for each of the last two games. He will finish his 2023 Saints stint with one catch on four targets for four yards. Kirkwood will look to catch on elsewhere, but would likely be a depth option on any organization. Fantasy managers can continue to ignore him going forward.

Courtland Sutton Finishes Career Year With A Whimper

Monday, January 8, 12:14 AM

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton (ankle) wouldn't mind forgetting his performance in the Week 18 regular season finale loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, but it didn't put a damper on what was a memorable year for the sixth-year receiver. Sutton injured his ankle in the 27-14 loss and finished with only one reception on four targets for two yards. The 28-year-old pass-catcher finished an ultra-productive season with a total of 59 catches on 90 targets for 772 yards and a career-high 10 touchdowns. His previous high in TDs was set in his second season in 2019, when he had six. It was surely an impressive year for Sutton, but the majority of his fantasy production was propped up by his reliance on finding the end zone and his chemistry with quarterback Russell Wilson, who is expected to be cut in March.
