Chicago Bears tight end Robert Tonyan (back) is officially active for Week 1 versus the Green Bay Packers. He had been listed as questionable but will ultimately suit up as Cole Kmet's backup. He can be left on fantasy football waivers.

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Irv Smith Jr. (hamstring) missed his second straight day of practice this week on Thursday. Smith was not active for Monday night's win over the Los Angeles Rams and is now in danger of missing his second straight contest in Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans. If the 25-year-old oft-injured tight end misses another game, expect Drew Sample and Mitchell Wilcox to once again split duties at the position, although neither player would be a very intriguing fantasy streamer. In his first two games with Cincinnati, Smith has been barely there in the Bengals offense, catching five of nine targets for just 27 yards and no touchdowns.
