The Chicago Bears are signing wide receiver/punt returner Trent Taylor, who was cut by the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday, to their 53-man roster on Wednesday, according to a source. The Bears also claimed defensive end Khalid Kareem off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts and defensive back Quindell Johnson from the Los Angeles Rams and cut defensive end Terrell Lewis. Taylor will serve as a return option and as receiver depth for the Bears to open the 2023 regular season. The 29-year-old had 340 yards on punt returns in 2022 in Cincinnati. He's not on the fantasy radar.

According to Field Yates of ESPN, wide receiver Allen Robinson was released by the Steelers on Friday. The move helped Pittsburgh from a monetary standpoint, considering it cleared up millions in cap space. But it also allows the team to move on from the veteran wideout, who is coming off arguably his worst year in the league. Robinson has played for four teams throughout his career. In 127 regular season games, he's caught 562 passes for 7,028 yards and 43 touchdowns. The 30-year-old has also hit the 1,000-yard mark three times. That said, Robinson should have more than a few teams interested in acquiring his services. But he's not expected to be a viable fantasy asset anytime in the near future.
