New! Customize settings for the Lineup Calculator

Kevin Day, August 28th, 2008

You can now customize the settings for the Lineup Calculator to match your league settings. Just click the ‘Edit league settings’ link on the Lineup Calculator and you will see this menu:

As you can see, there is support for different yardage and touchdown scoring along with flex lineups and PPR. At this time, there are no options for length of touchdown, total yardage bonuses, or defense scoring.

This option is open to everyone, but paid members will have the new settings automatically saved with their teams. Every team has its own customized settings.

Try it out now. It makes the projections much more useful now that they’re customized for each team.

Sorry for the double post, but I must say, I just went in and changed the settings for our fantasy league and I jumped to over 101 avg per week. Can you say trouble in the Ba Ba Boey’s!!! I can. Sorry I will limit all smack for the league, but all should know what a genius Kevin is. This site outdoes itself daily. It is the best Mock site in the world, and all who use it will draft smarter and quicker. You will baffle all of your opponents when you pick your next draft pick in like ten seconds, because you know who the value is and you know who you can wait on (Draft Sim baby!!). So kudos again to the best mock site on the planet, and to you Kevin, Mr. Mock-Fantasy-Draft-Genius Guy!!!

are you going to update the calculators’ player projections in a timely manner ?

brandon marshall gets 0 pts for the first 3 weeks even though his suspension was reduced to one game last week.

warner has been named starter over leinhart last weekend and he’s still projected in single digits…

if it’s not going to be up to date, the calculator will be borderline useless.

still pretty cool, just make it reliable.

patrick: Yes, the projections will be updated in a timely manner. They have been updated now to include the latest roster changes and Marshall’s reduced suspension. In the future the changes will be made quicker than these latest changes. You’re right that they should have been made sooner.

thanks kevin, awesome site, i’ve used it quite a bit preparing for my draft and i’m planning on using it during the season to see how my roster projections will change with any roster moves i might make…glad you’ve got my money, it’s worth it !

Question: On what data (generally speaking) does the lineup calculator base its projections? If “strength of opponent”, “opponent vs. position” etc. are taken into consideration, will those calculations be dynamic throughout the year? Great site, thank you.

LK on

LK: The lineup calculator uses strength of opponent at each position as a main factor, and yes it will be dynamically updated. The first week’s games will be updated on Tuesday, and from there on out they’ll be updated after every day’s games.

Gramatica a Cowboy…not exactly. How about keeping this info up to date or refunding my 13 bucks.

SCputter on

SCputter: You’re right and I apologize for the error. Gramatica’s team is fixed now.
