More 10 and 12 team mock drafts

Kevin Day, May 19th, 2009

Even though it’s early in the year, there are still a ton of people practicing for their drafts already.  The draft boards have been filling up fast at peak times, which causes a lot of unnecessary waiting.

I’ve just increased the number of 10 and 12 team mock drafts.  If you’re curious, here is the current breakdown of drafts per hour:

  • Five 10-team drafts
  • Four 12-team drafts
  • Two 8-team drafts
  • One 14-team draft

And a partridge in a pear tree.

But seriously, the drafts now start twice as often (every 2:30 instead of every 5:00) so you should have an easier time getting into the draft you want.

I think it would be cool if you picked out a draft or two every week and analyzed the teams. give shout outs to best drafters and analyze strategies and such. i think it would be cool. do a different league size every week, or do one per league size every week. i really think it would up the chatter around here…

Great idea, Lucas. I think I’ll start doing that soon. Could be interesting.

Cool idea. In conjunction with that, maybe the user name of the person chosen as best drafter can be italicized or bolded or something, so that everyone who participates in mock drafts with him will be able to see that he is “King of the Hill” until his crown is taken away.

Cool suggestion, Doug.

[...] on a suggestion by Lucas in a previous blog post, I am going to highlight a recent mock draft, give my thoughts, and see what you guys think.  [...]
