Reggie White Jr. News

Cut by Giants

White has been waived by the Giants, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Analysis: White went undrafted in 2019 before signing with the Giants shortly after. While he was unable to earn a spot on the 53-man roster, he spent the majority of the season on their practice squad. He signed a reserve/future contract with them following the season, but it now looks like they want to go in a different direction. The 24-year-old is now set to look for a new opportunity.

Signs future deal

White signed a reserve/futures contract with the Giants on Monday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

Analysis: White spent most of the season on the Giants' practice squad, and he'll get another chance to make the team in 2020. The 23-year-old was highly productive in his senior season for Monmouth, recording 71 receptions for 1,133 yards and 11 touchdowns. However, his fastest track to an NFL roster would likely be special teams.
