Depending on your league type and size, such as an 8-team league or a tight end premium league, it’s recommended that you grab one of the “big 3” at the position - Travis Kelce, Darren Waller, and George Kittle - to gain that upper hand every week at the position, since it’s one of the only ways to differentiate when everyone has a stacked team. In larger leagues, though, with a lot of wide receiver and flex spots, this isn’t necessary since it’s a “onesie” position. That is, you are only required to start one player at that position, like a quarterback. It would be nice to have one of the three tight ends listed above, but there is a ton of talent at RB and WR you would be giving up early in the draft.
