1. Alex Smith, QB (Washington Football Team)
After missing all of last year and having several surgeries, Alex Smith is back and he looks pretty good in the Washington offense. Over his past two games, he’s thrown for 715 yards, 1 touchdown, and 3 interceptions, and while he needs to start limiting the turnovers, it’s more shaking off the rust than anything. The three picks were during his first game and he’s thrown for at least 325 yards in both contests. This week the Football team plays the Bengals and are 1-point favorites at home and are giving up an average of 21.1 fantasy points to QBs per week. With Josh Allen on a bye this week and other top-15 QBs with more difficult matchups, Smith is a sneaky option this week if you’re desperate.
