Eagles Plan to Get A.J. Brown More Involved

Sunday, September 14, 12:36 PM

The Philadelphia Eagles are "looking to get A.J. Brown involved more and early" on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. He noted that the Eagles had several plays dialed up for Brown to get more targets last week, but they didn't work out, and the star receiver finished Week 1 with just one reception. Based on Garafolo's comments, it appears that last week should be treated as an anomaly, and Brown will be more involved in Week 2. An increased target share could come naturally for Brown as the Eagles will be without Dallas Goedert (knee), who caught seven passes in the season opener.

Ricky Pearsall Tallies 56 Yards In Win

Tuesday, September 16, 11:55 AM

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall caught four passes for 56 receiving yards in the team's 26-21 win over the Saints on Sunday. His Week 2 yardage was just shy of half his total from Week 1, but he was readily involved in the passing attack, with his six targets ranking third on the team. Even with Mac Jones standing in for Brock Purdy (toe/shoulder) for the next few weeks, Pearsall will still be a solid fantasy producer. Fellow wideout Jauan Jennings (ankle) is nursing an ankle injury sustained against the Saints and is considered day-to-day. If he is out or limited in Week 3, Pearsall would operate as Jones' top target against the Arizona Cardinals.
