Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce has carved out a productive role with his team in 2025. Pierce has caught 16 passes for 317 scoreless yards in five games as the Colts have looked his way often on deep passes downfield. The speedy wideout will look to keep it going in Week 8's home matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Tennessee does not represent a difficult matchup for Pierce as their defense is allowing the 13th-most fantasy points per game to opposing receivers this year. Pierce isn't a safe play in fantasy but he does have value as a boom/bust flex option in a week with six NFL teams on bye.

New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte continues to be an intriguing WR3/flex option as he showcases his big-play ability at the NFL level. Boutte had a quieter stretch of games earlier in the year, but he broke out with two touchdowns in Week 6 against the Saints. Now, he has seven catches, 148 yards, and three touchdowns over his last two games. He will look to carry his momentum and upside into Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns. Fortunately for Boutte, Cleveland has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to perimeter receivers, giving the third-year receiver a chance to shake his defender and score more touchdowns. Managers playing in deeper leagues or dealing with bye weeks can certainly justify Boutte as a WR3/flex this week.
