Alexander Mattison Rushes For 95 Yards In Week 4 Win

Sunday, October 1, 8:14 PM

Minnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison carried the ball 17 times for 95 yards and caught his lone target for three yards in the team's 21-13 win over the Panthers in Week 4. Mattison has looked solid in the past two games and looks to be the clear No. 1 option in the Vikings backfield despite the acquisition of Cam Akers. He had a favorable matchup against a porous Panthers' run defense in this one, but fantasy managers should continue to count on him moving forward as he should be in for a sizeable workload. The 25-year-old looks to be a solid RB2 option in Week 5 in what could be a high-scoring matchup with the Chiefs.

Jaylen Warren Receives Healthy Workload Against Houston

Monday, October 2, 9:53 AM

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren received 14 opportunities out of the backfield in the team's 30-6 loss to the Houston Texans. The second-year pro turned eight carries and six catches into 55 total yards. Warren and Najee Harris nearly split the touches 50/50. The starter ran the ball 14 times and caught one pass on two targets. Both backs saw 49% of the snaps in the blowout loss. Warren and the Steelers face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5. An already struggling offense could have a new quarterback in Mitch Trubisky, who is likely to start in place of Kenny Pickett (knee).
