Ashton Jeanty Off the Injury Report, Good to Go for Week 1

Friday, September 11, 12:48 PM

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty (ankle) is officially off the injury report and will play in his team's season opener against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Jeanty suffered an ankle injury in training camp that has limited his practice availability leading up to the regular season, but it appears he will be on the field for Week 1. Across 17 games as a rookie in 2025, Jeanty recorded 1,321 scrimmage yards and 10 touchdowns on 321 touches. While the 22-year-old averaged just 3.7 yards per carry last season, he should have a significantly improved offensive line in front of him in 2026. The Raiders may take a touch or two off of Jeanty's plate in Week 1, but he still profiles as a three-down workhorse who should see plenty of volume against Miami. Now that he's officially cleared to play, Jeanty profiles as a low-end RB1/high-end RB2 option for fantasy managers against Miami.

Omarion Hampton News

Omarion Hampton Gets Dream Matchup to Begin Potential Breakout Season

Saturday, September 12, 5:21 AM

Los Angeles Chargers running back Omarion Hampton will make his 2026 debut in Mike McDaniel's offense with a favorable home matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. The 23-year-old had an injury-riddled rookie campaign but finished as the RB12 in fantasy points per game (15.1) among running backs who played at least nine games, despite a shaky offensive line. McDaniel has been very fantasy-friendly with running backs and has produced a top-5 fantasy running back in each of the last three seasons, with four running backs averaging over 17 fantasy points per game. In Week 1, Hampton draws a Cardinals defense that allowed the sixth-most 20-plus yard carries, eighth-most rushing yards, ninth-most rushing touchdowns, and the 12th-most rushing yards per carry last season. He's RotoBaller's Half-PPR RB9 in a favorable matchup that could lead to a heavy workload if the Chargers get a healthy lead in the second half.
