Los Angeles Rams kicker Brett Maher is locked in as a top-five option at the position. Maher has hit three field goals in each of his first three games of the season and is connecting on them. The 33-year-old has made nine of 11 field goal attempts and is five-of-five on extra point tries. Maher is a must-start going forward and will continue to get these opportunities, considering how great the Rams have been at getting down the field at will. He is a great play and should not be on any waiver wires, as he faces the Indianapolis Colts in Week 4.

Carolina Panthers kicker Eddy Pineiro made two of his three field goals and added three extra points in his team's Week 3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Pineiro will now take on the Minnesota Vikings at home in Bank of America Stadium in Week 4. The Vikings have been solid against kickers this season, allowing just the 17th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Pineiro has made six of seven field goals on the year, including two from 50+ yards, but the Carolina offense isn't moving the ball into scoring position frequently enough to trust him as a fantasy starter this weekend.
