Houston Texans tight end Brevin Jordan played just five total snaps, all on special teams, in the 25-9 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 of the regular season on Sunday. The Texans didn't score a single touchdown in Baltimore, with No. 1 tight end Dalton Schultz going for just two catches (four targets) for four yards. Fellow tight end Teagan Quitoriano caught his only target for an 11-yard gain. The 23-year-old Jordan didn't play at all in the preseason, either, due to a hamstring injury, and perhaps he's still not 100 percent. Jordan is currently an afterthought at the position in Houston after catching 34 passes on 56 targets for 306 yards and three touchdowns in 20 games (five starts) in his first two seasons with the team.

Indianapolis Colts tight end Jelani Woods (hamstring) was placed on IR on Wednesday. The second-year tight end missed the entire preseason with a hamstring issue and now cannot be activated until at least Week 4. Woods posted a decent rookie season--as far as tight ends go--last year when he had 25 catches for 312 yards and three touchdowns. The Colts will roll with Kylen Granson and Mo Alie-Cox as their top two tight ends to begin the year. Neither player has much fantasy appeal in what appears to be a low-volume passing attack led by rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson.
