Las Vegas Raiders rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell is expected to draw the start in Week 4 versus the Los Angeles Chargers, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. With Jimmy Garoppolo (concussion) ruled out, the expectation was that veteran Brian Hoyer would handle quarterback duties on Sunday. Instead, it'll be the Purdue product making his NFL debut. The 25-year-old flashed potential in the preseason, but regular-season defenses are a whole new beast. He's not on the fantasy radar, and the likes of Davante Adams, Josh Jacobs, and Jakobi Meyers will see their fantasy value take a hit. On the other hand, the Chargers' defense becomes a solid streamer.

Less than 24 hours after releasing Nathan Peterman, the Chicago Bears have re-signed the veteran quarterback to the active roster. Peterman will presumably be the Bears' backup to Justin Fields in Week 3 against the Buccaneers. Undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent will serve as the emergency quarterback. The 29-year-old Peterman has played in 13 games in his five-year NFL career.
