Brycen Hopkins Has Been Bright Spot At Training Camp

Thursday, August 17, 4:31 PM

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said on Thursday that tight end Brycen Hopkins has been a bright spot at training camp so far. Hopkins, the Rams' fourth-round pick in 2020 out of Purdue, caught just seven of 11 targets for 109 yards and no touchdowns in 14 games (one start) behind Tyler Higbee in his third NFL season in 2022. The 26-year-old is still behind Higbee on the tight end depth chart in Los Angeles, but he's making strides heading into his fourth season and could take on a bigger role in a Rams offense that could use some pass-catchers to step up behind All-Pro wideout Cooper Kupp. However, Hopkins won't be on the fantasy radar unless Higbee misses time with an injury in 2023.

Colby Parkinson Misses Practice On Wednesday

Thursday, November 16, 12:44 AM

Seattle Seahawks tight end Colby Parkinson (bicep) was not present at the team's practice on Wednesday. Parkinson dealt with this bicep injury coming into Week 10 but winded up playing through the issue in the Seahawks' 29-26 win over the Washington Commanders. The tight end caught one pass for three yards in that contest, and he'll have two more chances this week to upgrade his practice status before Sunday's matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. If he suits up, he should only be started in extremely deep tight end premium leagues in Week 11.
