Across five games so far in 2026, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has completed 64.3% of his pass attempts for 1,402 yards, six touchdowns, and zero interceptions. The 25-year-old has flown under the radar because he hasn't delivered many touchdown passes yet. However, he's quietly thrown for at least 260 yards in four out of five games, and he's averaging 294 yards per game in the three contests where star Texans wideout Nico Collins has been active. Stroud may now be getting another high-end weapon to work with, as Houston acquired wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. from the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. The Texans have also been one of the least efficient rushing teams in the NFL this season, and RB1 David Montgomery (groin) may miss time with a groin injury. In leagues where he's available, Stroud could be worth targeting on the waiver wire for fantasy managers.

The Los Angeles Chargers might be 0-4, but their pass defense has come alive in recent weeks and could present some issues for Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix in Week 5. Nix recorded a modest performance of 214 yards passing and a touchdown but completed just 59.5% of his passes during a loss to the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday. Now, Nix faces a Chargers pass defense that is on the rise. In Week 3, Los Angeles intercepted former MVP Bills quarterback Josh Allen twice while sacking him four times, followed by limiting Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl champion quarterback Sam Darnold to just 168 yards passing while sacking him three times and intercepting him once this past week. Nix is RotoBaller's 11th-ranked quarterback and is projected to score 17 fantasy points against the Chargers.
