CeeDee Lamb News

Is CeeDee Lamb Being Undervalued?

Sunday, May 3, 6:01 AM

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb finished 2023 with one of the highest-scoring fantasy seasons of all time, rightfully peaking as the WR1 in consensus dynasty rankings. Since then, injuries to both himself and his quarterback have seen him fall to RotoBaller's WR7. After Dak Prescott missed nine games in 2024 with a serious hamstring injury, Lamb missed three starts of his own in 2025 while dealing with a high ankle sprain, but the biggest factor in Lamb's declining value is undoubtedly the breakout of George Pickens, who promptly finished as the WR5 on the strength of 1,429 receiving yards and nine touchdowns after Dallas sent third and fifth-round picks to acquire him from the Steelers. The recent pageantry around Pickens' signing of his franchise tag suggests there may be some uncertainty about his future with the Cowboys, but even if the sides can eventually work out a long-term deal, Lamb will continue to be the first option in Dallas. In games where both players took at least 50 offensive snaps in 2025, Lamb out-earned Pickens by 2.6 targets per contest. At 27 years old, and having topped 1,000 yards from scrimmage in each of his first six seasons, Lamb is still one of the most reliable players in the game, and when things go right, as they did in 2023, he's capable of winning leagues.

Justin Jefferson News

Justin Jefferson's Buy Window is Closing Fast

Wednesday, April 22, 5:50 AM

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is coming off the worst season of his six-year career. He hit single-season yardage and touchdown lows, while his 4.9 receptions per game were approximately a catch and a half below his career average. And yet, Jefferson is still RotoBaller's dynasty WR4, largely because his 2025 struggles can be almost entirely explained away by some of the worst quarterback play in the league. Vikings quarterbacks threw for 3,176 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 21 interceptions in 2025, bottom-four numbers across the board. While Minnesota may not have found a long-term solution at the position, they've at least brought in a Band-Aid for 2026, signing Cardinals castoff Kyler Murray to a one-year deal at the start of free agency. While Murray has had his own struggles of late, he can stand on a proven record of supporting a true number one receiver, peppering DeAndre Hopkins with over 150 targets in their first season together, en route to a WR7 finish in 2020. Even if a clear path out of the darkness wasn't evident at the time, Jefferson was one of the smartest buy-lows of the 2025 season, and at just 26 years old, his cost to acquire may still be suppressed enough to make him a worthwhile buy before the new season starts and he reminds the league of what he's capable.
