Chase Brown Will Play in Week 18

Friday, January 2, 1:26 PM

Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown (illness) returned to practice on Friday and will play on Sunday in the Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival Cleveland Browns, according to Ben Baby of ESPN. Brown's availability for this weekend was in question after he missed the first two practices of the week due to illness. The 25-year-old will be ready to roll on Sunday, though, as he seeks the first 1,000-yard rushing season of his career. He heads into the final weekend of the regular season with 219 carries for 947 rushing yards and six touchdowns on the ground, adding a career-high 65 catches on 82 targets for 419 yards and four more touchdowns. Brown has been money for fantasy managers down the stretch and needs to remain in all starting lineups against Cleveland. In the season opener against the Browns, Brown had 21 carries for 43 yards and a touchdown.

TreVeyon Henderson Remains a High-Upside Running Back Option for Wild Card Round

Sunday, January 11, 2:18 PM

Across 17 games as a rookie, New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson recorded 1,132 yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns on 215 touches. The 23-year-old recorded four games with multiple touchdowns from Week 10 onwards, establishing himself as the highest-upside back in the New England backfield. The Patriots are now set to host the Los Angeles Chargers in the first round of the AFC on Sunday night. Los Angeles fielded a solid run defense in the regular season, ranking eighth in the NFL in total rushing yards allowed (1,791) and tied for 16th in rushing touchdowns allowed (16). The Chargers also allowed just seven rushes of 20-plus yards, which was tied for the sixth-fewest among all NFL defenses. Still, Henderson has proven the ability to be efficient throughout the year, averaging 5.1 yards per attempt. RotoBaller ranks Henderson as the RB9 in full PPR fantasy leagues for his Wild Card round matchup against Los Angeles.
