Chimere Dike Could See More Opportunities as a Receiver

Friday, September 12, 4:16 PM

Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Chimere Dike has been performing well and could see more opportunities. On Friday, head coach Brian Callahan said that he has liked what Dike has done and that he's earned more opportunities as a receiver. In the season opener, Dike had a limited role on the offensive side of the ball and was deployed primarily as a special teams player. In the few offensive snaps he saw, Dike saw one target but was unable to connect with it. He also took one carry for nine yards. As a returner, Dike totaled 144 yards on kickoffs and 12 on punts. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the former fourth-round pick's development as he could carve out a role in the Tennessee offense that lacks proven playmakers behind veteran Calvin Ridley. For now, he is best left as a stash option in dynasty/keeper formats. If Dike were to begin to emerge as a regular starter in Week 2, he could enter waiver wire territory in deep redraft leagues.

Arian Smith News

Arian Smith Due for More Playing Time in Week 6?

Saturday, October 11, 3:51 PM

New York Jets wide receiver Arian Smith should see the field more in Week 6 when his team takes on the Denver Broncos at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. The rookie has amassed just five targets and four catches through five games in 2025. However, with the news that teammate Allen Lazard (personal) will be ruled out this Sunday, Smith should get a bit of extra run behind fellow wideouts Josh Reynolds and Garrett Wilson. The path to fantasy relevance is narrow, particularly with tight end Mason Taylor carving out a significant target share from quarterback Justin Fields. Still, New York may be forced to air it out a bit more with Denver's defense allowing the fifth-fewest rushing yards per game to opposing ground attacks (88.4). Smith isn't an option in season-long lineup leagues, but he's worth monitoring for dynasty purposes. The former Georgia Bulldog is RotoBaller's PPR WR116 for his matchup with the Broncos.
