Who Should I Start? Christian Watson or Khalil Shakir

In two games since returning from the ACL tear that ended his 2024 season, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (knee) has recorded six catches for 143 yards on eight targets. Watson was listed as a limited practice participant on Thursday, but he's expected to play in his team's Week 10 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. The 26-year-old has looked as explosive as ever so far in 2025, averaging 23.8 yards per reception. Consistent target volume has always been an issue for Watson, but there are some reasons to believe he could see an expanded role in Week 10. Green Bay lost star tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) to a season-ending ACL tear in Week 9, and wide receivers Savion Williams (foot), Matthew Golden (shoulder), and Dontayvion Wicks (calf) were all on Thursday's injury report. Watson also played 66% of the Packers' offensive snaps in Week 9, up from 56% in Week 8. Heading into Week 10, Watson profiles as a high-end WR4/flex option for fantasy managers.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir has emerged as the go-to option for quarterback Josh Allen as the team heads into the second half of the season. The 25-year-old receiver has seen five or more targets in each of the last four games and has established himself in the passing game as the team has been without tight end Dalton Kincaid. With Kincaid returning, Shakir should have more room to operate against a Chiefs defense that will be struggling to determine what option they will take away.
