Cole Kmet News

Cole Kmet is Earning Deep-League Value

Tuesday, September 15, 5:45 PM

Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet didn't have a major role in the offense, but he was able to have success during the season opener. Kmet caught two of his three targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in the win over the Carolina Panthers. Despite being behind Colston Loveland on the depth chart, Kmet made more of an impact than him on Sunday. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect that to happen weekly, but it's nice to see that Kmet is still getting involved in the offense. The Bears have two viable tight ends, so expect them to use them to their advantage. Kmet could be worth adding in deep leagues after a decent showing in the season opener.

Greg Dulcich News

Greg Dulcich Mostly Impacting the Dolphins as a Blocker

Thursday, September 17, 8:54 PM

Miami Dolphins tight end Greg Dulcich consistently saw the field in Week 1, but his lack of volume in this run-heavy offense will severely limit his floor and upside in fantasy football. Dulcich played 77% of snaps in Week 1 but caught just two passes for 18 yards. In addition to his small sample size of reps as a receiver, he also stepped up in the blocking game. Dulcich finished the first week of the regular season with a 55.2 run-blocking grade and 72.5 pass-blocking grade. The latter is very intriguing, but we should be equally concerned about his lower run-blocking grade within a Miami offense that is designed to run the ball nearly every play.
