Cooper Rush Not Much of a Starting Option in Week 6

Saturday, October 11, 9:53 AM

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Cooper Rush is taking over for the injured Lamar Jackson (hamstring) again, and it doesn't seem to be any better of a situation. Even though the Houston Texans have been the toughest fantasy matchup for opposing QBs this season, he now takes on the 12th-ranked unit against the position in the Los Angeles Rams. They allow an average of 16.02 fantasy points per game through five weeks and have only given up seven passing touchdowns total. Rush had an abysmal game last time out by throwing three interceptions with only 179 yards. Fantasy managers should look for different options if a streamer is needed due to bye weeks.

Sam LaPorta Set to Build on Week 5 Breakout in Week 6?

Friday, October 10, 6:11 PM

Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta had by far his best game of the 2025 season in Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals, recording five catches for 92 yards and a touchdown on six targets. LaPorta now has 21 catches for 269 yards and a score on 27 targets through five games. However, the Lions have a difficult matchup in Week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City has allowed the ninth-fewest passing yards (999) and the fourth-fewest number of passing touchdowns (five) in the NFL so far this season. The Chiefs are also particularly stingy against tight ends, allowing an average of just 3.6 receptions and 32.8 yards per game to the position. Still, LaPorta will likely be the Lions' second-leading target-getter behind star wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown. LaPorta profiles as a must-start fantasy tight end in Week 6.
