Atlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson sat out of Wednesday's practice due to rest, not the ankle injury he suffered during Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Patterson left briefly on Sunday to tend to the ailment but returned to finish the game as the RB3 for the Falcons. The 32-year-old joined some other Atlanta veterans on their rest day. Patterson won't have that big of a role on offense against Arizona on Sunday as long as Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier remain healthy.

Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery rushed 18 times for 56 yards and a touchdown and caught one pass for a loss of one yard in the Week 13 win over the New Orleans Saints. Montgomery has scored a touchdown in every game that he started and finished, so he's been one of the most reliable options in all of fantasy football. Even with Jahmyr Gibbs handling nine touches, the former Chicago Bear delivered again for fantasy managers.
