D'Andre Swift Posts Massive Three-Touchdown Game

Sunday, September 13, 4:49 PM

Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift could not have started the season any better. The 27-year-old is earning every bit of that new extension by the looks of his performance during Sunday's season opener versus the Carolina Panthers. Swift carried the ball 18 times for 124 rushing yards and three touchdowns. He also hauled in his lone target for 10 yards in the blowout road victory. Swift averaged nearly 7 yards per carry during Sunday's game. Somebody changed the settings to easy mode in Madden before kickoff, as Swift had absolutely no problems running through the Panthers defense. He'll look to continue his success against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect another three-touchdown game, but anyone who puts Swift on the bench after that game looks as bad as the Panthers defense.

Colston Loveland News

Colston Loveland a Bust in Week 1 vs. Panthers

Sunday, September 13, 12:59 PM

The Chicago Bears rallied for a 59-37 win against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, but tight end Colston Loveland had no impact on his team's efforts to start the season with a W. The 2025 first-round draft pick was expected to have a strong outing in Sunday's season debut and shoulder a heavy workload as Chicago's TE1. However, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams targeted him just twice against Carolina, and Loveland failed to make either catch. Meanwhile, veteran tight end Cole Kmet, who is listed behind Loveland on the depth chart, caught two of three targets for 35 yards and scored a touchdown. Receivers Rome Odunze, Kalif Raymond, and Luther Burden III all factored into Sunday's victory. Loveland had 58 catches for 713 yards and six touchdowns in 2025 and was a projected TE2 heading into the new season, but his slow start in 2026 proved to be a Week 1 fantasy bust.
