Sunday, August 25, 6:20 PM
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Damiere Byrd has been released by the organization on Sunday. The veteran latched onto the Bills in August after being cut by the Washington Commanders. Byrd spent most of his 2023 campaign on the practice squad with the Atlanta Falcons. He caught his lone pass of the preseason for 20 yards during Saturday's game. His best year came with the New England Patriots in 2020 when he caught 47 passes for 604 yards and one touchdown in 16 games. Since then, Byrd hasn't done anything noteworthy, so now he'll look to catch on elsewhere as depth.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge (pectoral) is no longer listed on the injury report ahead of Sunday's clash with the Miami Dolphins. The 30-year-old appeared on the Week 8 edition of the injury report because of a pec issue. However, he logged full practice sessions on Thursday and Friday. With that in mind, Hodge hasn't done much of anything for fantasy managers this season, logging 26 offensive snaps while being targeted only once. There's a chance Drake London (hip) won't play after being downgraded to questionable on Saturday. Still, even if London can't get on the field, Hodge isn't expected to benefit.
