Darius Slayton Still Not Practicing

Wednesday, October 15, 5:21 PM

New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (hamstring) missed the first practice of the week on Wednesday, according to Dan Salomone of Giants.com. Slayton suffered a hamstring injury in the Week 5 loss to the New Orleans Saints and didn't practice on a short week before missing last Thursday night's upset win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Another DNP to begin Week 7 preparation is a bad sign, but Slayton still has two more days to get back onto the practice field. If the 28-year-old cannot do so, he'll miss a second straight game this Sunday versus the Denver Broncos on the road. Slayton figures to be one of New York's top pass-catchers the rest of the year now that Malik Nabers (knee) is done for the season, but he needs to get healthy first. If Slayton gets cleared to play on Sunday, he'll be a WR4/flex, at best, against a stingy Denver defense.

Kenneth Walker III a Low-End RB2 in Week 6

Saturday, October 11, 9:49 AM

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III checks in as a low-end RB2 once again in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Walker continues to split time with running back Zach Charbonnet in Seattle's backfield. The Jaguars are 18th against opposing running backs in fantasy. As such, there should be running lanes available for Walker. Walker has been very efficient over the last couple of weeks, having amassed 167 rushing yards on 29 carries. Unfortunately, his passing game volume remains low, which lowers his floor. However, the Seahawks love to run the ball in neutral and positive game scripts. They should be able to take care of business against Jacksonville, which bodes well for Walker in fantasy. Walker's ceiling will be tapped as long as he is splitting time with Charbonnet, but if he remains efficient, he will provide solid fantasy value. Additionally, Walker is as good a bet as anyone to score a long touchdown.
