Darius Slayton Has Weak Fantasy Day In Week 16

Sunday, December 22, 6:12 PM

New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton had a quiet outing in Sunday's 34-7 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, recording just one catch for 21 yards on two targets and adding one carry for six yards. His lone reception tied for the team's longest of the day, matching Malik Nabers' 21-yard catch, but opportunities were scarce for the third option in a struggling passing attack led by Drew Lock. Slayton's 3.2 fantasy points reflect the broader inefficiencies of the Giants' offense, which has been unable to support multiple receivers effectively. With Nabers and Wan'Dale Robinson dominating targets and Lock failing to produce, Slayton's fantasy relevance remains minimal heading into the season's final weeks.

Mac Jones Mediocre In Loss To Raiders

Sunday, December 22, 10:22 PM

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Mac Jones had a decent outing in a 19-14 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. The former Patriot finished with 25 completions on 39 attempts for 247 yards and a touchdown. Jones went back to his previous ways of struggling to lead the Jaguars offense to a significant point total, but he at least had a decent enough fantasy outing to fill in as a solid QB2. Jones's favorite target was once again Brian Thomas Jr., who has proven to be one of the best young receivers in the league despite inconsistent quarterback play. Both of their fantasy days were salvaged by a 62-yard touchdown in the third quarter to take a 14-13 lead. Jones will likely continue to rely on Brian Thomas Jr. in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans.
