The Cleveland Browns have placed wide receiver David Bell (hip) on injured reserve after he was carted off the field following a hit early in the third quarter, with trainers lifting his right leg for support. Before his injury, Bell had three receptions for 27 yards in Sunday's victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, before he suffered a dislocated hip. A third-round pick in 2022, Bell has accumulated 41 catches for 408 yards and three touchdowns across 32 games, including eight receptions for 54 yards in last season's playoff loss to the Texans. Fantasy managers can anticipate increased roles for Amari Cooper, Jerry Jeudy, Jerome Ford, and D'Onta Foreman going forward. Baltimore Ravens wide receiver LaJohntay Wester put together a fantastic debut in the team's first preseason game after being drafted in the sixth round out of Colorado. The speedster scored his first touchdown near the end of the first quarter when he returned a punt to the house for 87 yards. He flashed his elusiveness after making the first four tacklers miss, and turned on the burners. Overall, he finished with 104 return yards on three attempts and two receptions for 41 yards on three targets. If Wester continues this level of play, he could find his way into the fourth receiver spot over Devontez Walker and Tylan Wallace.
