David Njoku Finds End Zone, Leads Browns In Receiving

Sunday, October 5, 1:36 PM

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku scored and led his team in receiving on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, turning nine targets into six catches for 67 yards and a touchdown. Unfortunately for Cleveland, it wasn't quite enough, as the offense couldn't seal the game and the defense surrendered the lead in the final 30 seconds. The big tight end, however, had his best game of the season with rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel, who found both Njoku and fellow tight end Harold Fannin Jr. for touchdowns. The Browns' typically volatile QB situation presents risk, but Sunday was an encouraging day for fantasy managers that showed Njoku still can be a productive fantasy player, even alongside Fannin getting targets and a rookie throwing the ball.

Chig Okonkwo News

Chig Okonkwo is Tough to Trust

Friday, October 3, 9:30 PM

Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo posted a dud during last week's loss to the Houston Texans. He hauled in one of his three targets for four yards in the blowout defeat. This was a frustrating performance after Okonkwo hauled in five receptions for 66 yards in Week 3. The 26-year-old is still building chemistry with quarterback Cam Ward early in the season. This whole offensive unit has been struggling early in the season. The hope is that Okonkwo bounces back during the upcoming Week 5 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. He shouldn't be viewed as anything more than a TE2.
