David Njoku Looking to Build Off Big Week 5 Performance

Saturday, October 11, 8:18 AM

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) turned in his best game of an otherwise mediocre season in a Week 5 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Njoku finished with six catches for 67 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in the 21-17 defeat. The breakout performance for Njoku came in Dillon Gabriel's first career start, giving hope for Njoku's fantasy managers that the rookie signal-caller will lean heavily on his veteran tight end going forward. Despite being listed on the injury report with a knee issue, Njoku has practiced fully all week and does not have an injury designation heading into Sunday. Njoku has a chance to keep it going in a Week 6 road matchup against a Pittsburgh Steelers team that is allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends through four games. Fantasy gamers can treat Njoku as a low-end TE1 in Week 6.

Josh Downs a Low-Ceiling Flex Option in Week 6

Saturday, October 11, 9:03 AM

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs is off to a slow start in 2025. The veteran slot receiver has now caught just 20 passes for 175 scoreless yards in five contests. Downs thrived on seeing high volume over the past two seasons, but new Indy quarterback Daniel Jones seems to prefer throwing to Michael Pittman Jr. and Tyler Warren in the passing attack. Downs will hope to get it going in Week 6's home matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals are allowing the 20th-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season, setting up a moderately tough matchup for Downs and company. Downs is on the radar as a WR4/flex option in PPR leagues this season.
