David Njoku Catches Six Passes In Week 4

Sunday, October 1, 10:31 PM

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku caught six of his seven targets for 46 yards in a 28-3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4. Njoku, who burned his arm and face in an accident at his house on Saturday and was questionable to play on Sunday morning, wound up suiting up and emerged as rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson's favorite target in the blowout loss. The outing goes down as Njoku's best in 2023 as he came into the game with just 10 catches for 92 scoreless yards. Njoku will be on bye in Week 5 before he takes on the San Francisco 49ers at home in Week 6.

Sam LaPorta Puts Up 56 Yards In Win

Thursday, September 28, 11:47 PM

Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta caught four of his five targets for 56 yards in the Thursday Night Football win over the Green Bay Packers. It wasn't a massive boom performance for the rookie tight end, but it should keep fantasy managers in PPR leagues afloat ahead of the full Week 4 slate. LaPorta has seen at least five targets in all of his contests, which is more than can be said about a large chunk of the available tight ends on the waiver wire. He is a must-start in all matchups after being the fantasy TE2 through the first three weeks of the season.
