Evan Engram Paces Broncos Pass Catchers in Week 6 Win

Sunday, October 12, 12:33 PM

Denver Broncos tight end caught five of his six targets for 42 yards during Sunday's Week 6 win over the New York Jets. He was the team's leader in targets, receptions, and receiving yards. Engram's Broncos tenure started off relatively slow, but he has come on strong lately with 13 catches, 104 yards, and one touchdown over his last three games combined. The 31-year-old will remain a low-end TE1 option heading into a relatively soft matchup against the New York Giants last week. New York most recently allowed tight end Dallas Goedert to explode for nine catches, 110 yards, and a touchdown.

Carolina Panthers tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Dallas Cowboys. He had been listed as questionable but was trending in the wrong direction, according to reporting from ESPN's Adam Schefter.
