New England Patriots running back Ezekiel Elliott (thigh) was limited in the team's practice on Wednesday. After playing just 15 snaps in the Patriots' loss on Sunday, Elliott appears to be dealing with a thigh issue. It is an encouraging sign, though, to see the veteran start the week with limited practice reps. Elliott has seen his snap share decrease in three straight games and is coming off a nine carry for 46-yard performance. The 28-year-old back has also only scored 10-plus points in half-PPR formats in just one game this season, making him only a start in deeper leagues in Week 13.

Buffalo Bills running back Damien Harris (neck, concussion) has been placed on injured reserve. He will miss a minimum of four games. In a corresponding move, running back Ty Johnson was elevated from the practice squad. Harris had been splitting time with Latavius Murray as depth options behind James Cook, but he will now miss extended time after exiting Week 6 and being taken to the hospital with a serious upper-body injury. Harris was discharged the next day, but his road to recovery will still take some time. Placing the 26-year-old on IR gives Murray sole possession of the No. 2 role while Johnson occupies the third-string role.
