The Buffalo Bills reunited with veteran wide receiver Gabe Davis (knee) earlier this week, but he'll open the season on the practice squad injured list. Davis is still on the mend from a torn left meniscus he suffered last season as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now 26 years old, Davis spent 2020-23 with the Bills, averaging approximately 41 catches, 683 yards, and seven touchdowns per season during that run. He parlayed his Buffalo production into a three-year, $39 million deal with the Jaguars in free agency, but they released him after he fell flat in 2024. Davis caught just 20 of 42 targets for 239 yards and two scores in 10 games with the Jags before the meniscus injury ended his season in mid-November. The Bills are starting this season with Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer, Elijah Moore, Curtis Samuel, and Tyrell Shavers as their receivers. It's conceivable that Davis could replace someone from the back end of that group once he recovers.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Elic Ayomanor has emerged as one of quarterback Cameron Ward's favorite targets, as well as a top scoring option within the team's offense. This bodes well for his fantasy outlook ahead of a Week 4 divisional battle against the Houston Texans. Ayomanor now has eight catches and two touchdowns over his last two games, ranking as the overall WR19 in PPR leagues during that span. While we can't count on Ayomanor to score a touchdown every week, and therefore should not view him as a top-24 fantasy receiver, he is still on the radar as a potential starter in leagues with at least 12 teams. That's especially true as Calvin Ridley continues to struggle; the 30-year-old has 21 targets but just eight catches, ranking as the overall WR71. Ayomanor is arguably the top target in the Titans' offense, and an anticipated negative game script suggests that he should command at least five or six targets this weekend. He's an intriguing WR3/flex option, especially against a Texans defense allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to wide receivers in 2025.
