Who Should I Start? Jauan Jennings or Devaughn Vele

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle, rib) is officially active for Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He had been listed as questionable after logging back-to-back limited practices. While there was some concern about Jennings' status, he tested his injury pregame, and it was determined that he's healthy enough to play against the Bucs. His return provides a major boost to a Niners passing attack that is currently without Brandon Aiyuk (knee), George Kittle (hamstring), and Ricky Pearsall (knee). While Jennings will be catching passes from Mac Jones rather than Brock Purdy (foot), we don't expect there to be a significant fantasy drop-off. After all, Jones is averaging 302 passing yards and two passing touchdowns per start this season. Jennings is a fringe top-24 fantasy receiver this week.

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Devaughn Vele (hip) is officially active for Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Buffalo Bills. He had been listed as questionable after logging three limited practices this week. The 27-year-old has merely occupied a depth role when healthy, catching two passes for 16 yards through two games, though he did add a touchdown. He and Trey Palmer will continue to compete for the No. 4 role behind established receivers Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, and Brandin Cooks. Vele can be left on waivers in all fantasy leagues.
