Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (neck) has officially been ruled out for his team's Week 3 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football, per Rob Demovsky of ESPN. Reed was carted off from his team's Week 2 win over the New York Jets after suffering a scary-looking neck injury, and Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said on Tuesday that the team is unsure of Reed's status for the remainder of the 2026 season. With Reed sidelined, the Packers' passing game could become highly concentrated on the talented trio of wide receivers Christian Watson and Matthew Golden and tight end Tucker Kraft. While Reed has not yet been placed on Injured Reserve, it appears as though the 26-year-old is likely facing an extended stretch of missed time.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy caught five passes for 25 yards and a touchdown in the 33-30 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2. Worthy was one of three Chiefs pass catchers to find the end zone and finished the game third in targets behind Travis Kelce and Kenneth Walker. Worthy appears to be operating in more of the Rashee Rice role of years past with Rashee Rice operating as a blocker ahead of him, but it hasn't necessarily translated to fantasy success. The wideout did score last week, but he averaged only five yards per reception in the contest. Worthy operated more as a big play threat down the field in past years, averaging over 10 yards per reception in each of his first two seasons, but it remains to be seen if he can break off a big play in his current role. Worthy will have the chance to go off this week against a beatable Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins defense has given up 27 points and 35 points in back-to-back weeks this season, so the Chiefs will be able to operate their offense against them. Worthy is ranked WR44 in our RotoBaller Week 3 PPR rankings, making him a deeper league flex option this Sunday.
