Jaylen Warren News

Jaylen Warren a Volume-Based Flex Option Against Patriots

Friday, September 18, 7:15 PM

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren saw encouraging utilization in last week's win and will look to turn that opportunity into a stronger fantasy performance against the New England Patriots in Week 2. Although Warren was out-snapped by teammate Rico Dowdle, the former handled five additional touches and had a clear role in the passing game. New England's defense was stout against the run last year, but it's worth noting that the Patriots surrendered the fifth-most receptions to running backs in 2025. With Michael Pittman Jr. (foot) seemingly on the wrong side of questionable heading into the weekend, Warren could see significant involvement as a security blanket for quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The 27-year-old profiles as a flex option, particularly in PPR formats, for fantasy purposes this week.

Carnell Tate News

Carnell Tate is Underwhelming in NFL Debut

Sunday, September 13, 6:54 PM

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Carnell Tate made his NFL debut against the New York Jets on Sunday. There was plenty of hype surrounding this debut after Tate was selected fourth overall during this year's draft. Tate didn't give fantasy managers a ton to be happy about on Sunday. The rookie wideout hauled in four of his six targets for 38 yards in the loss. The good news is that Tate finished tied for the team lead in receiving yards and targets with Wan'Dale Robinson. The entire Titans offense struggled to move the ball, and that could be a season-long theme. The hope is that things will get better for Tate once he builds more chemistry with quarterback Cam Ward. Fantasy managers should consider Tate a low-end WR3 for the Week 2 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
