Jaylen Warren Efficient As Pass-Catcher In Week 2 Victory

Tuesday, September 19, 11:45 AM

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren handled six carries for 20 yards and secured four of his six targets for 66 yards in a Week 2 win against the Cleveland Browns. Najee Harris continued to be Pittsburgh's primary ball carrier on Monday night but Warren has clearly carved out a role for himself as a receiver. He looked particularly explosive when turning a short pass from quarterback Kenny Pickett into a 30-yard gain in the second quarter. With the Steelers' offense struggling to open the 2023 campaign, it's difficult to project Warren for a lot of touchdown upside, but the 24-year-old does offer some appeal as a flex option in PPR leagues. Warren should stay involved in a Week 3 bout with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Kyren Williams Scores Twice In Week 2 Start

Monday, September 18, 2:31 PM

Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams was highly productive in the team's 30-23 loss to division-rival San Francisco 49ers. With Cam Akers surprisingly being a healthy scratch, the second-year back took on the full workload and did not disappoint. The Notre Dame product carried the ball 14 times for 52 yards and a rushing touchdown, along with catching six of his 10 targets for 48 yards and a receiving touchdown. Williams had the second most targets on the team and produced despite the difficult matchup. Williams is an RB2 at the very least in the future each week and is a matchup-proof start, considering his volume. Williams will look to build on last Sunday's performance against the Bengals in Week 3.
