Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that running back Jerick McKinnon (groin) will not practice on Wednesday. McKinnon could be on the verge of missing his second straight game after being inactive in the Week 12 win over the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. The 31-year-old has primarily been a pass-game specialist behind lead back Isiah Pacheco this year, which has left him minimal fantasy upside in deep PPR leagues. McKinnon has seen only 13 carries for 30 yards in 10 games but has 19 receptions (26 targets) for 155 yards and three receiving touchdowns. If McKinnon is out again this weekend against the Green Bay Packers, Clyde Edwards-Helaire will have an elevated role as the backup behind Pacheco.

Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery was limited with a foot injury in Wednesday's practice. Montgomery's foot issue is a new injury as he's dealt with rib and thigh issues this season thus far. The veteran tailback will hope to get upgraded to a full practice by Friday, although his final injury status heading into a Week 13 matchup against the New Orleans Saints will be worth monitoring. If Montgomery doesn't end up playing, Jahmyr Gibbs would see an uptick in work on Sunday.
