Jonathan Mingo News

Jonathan Mingo Activated From Injured Reserve on Tuesday

Tuesday, October 21, 4:59 PM

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Jonathan Mingo (knee) was officially activated from the Injured Reserve to the active 53-man roster on Tuesday, according to Patrik Walker of DallasCowboys.com. Mingo will be eligible to make his 2025 debut this Sunday on the road against the Denver Broncos in Week 8, and he'll be joining a crowded Dallas WR room that also includes CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, KaVontae Turpin, Jalen Tolbert, and Ryan Flournoy. The 24-year-old will give the Cowboys even more depth at the position, but it's highly unlikely he's going to suddenly appear on the fantasy radar anytime soon. The former second-round pick by the Carolina Panthers in 2023 out of Ole Miss joined the Cowboys midway through last season and had only five receptions on 16 targets for 46 yards and no touchdowns in eight games (one start).

LaJohntay Wester News

LaJohntay Wester "May Be Called on to Step Up" in Baltimore

Friday, September 18, 5:25 PM

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver LaJohntay Wester "may be called on to step up" in his team's Week 2 matchup against the New Orleans Saints, per Ryan Mink of BaltimoreRavens.com. A sixth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Wester recorded the first two catches of his pro career for 15 yards in Baltimore's Week 1 win over the Indianapolis Colts. However, Baltimore now has a major void in its wide receiver room with rookie Ja'Koi Lane (wrist) on Injured Reserve and lead wideout Zay Flowers (hamstring) doubtful to play against the Saints. Wester profiles as a shifty slot receiver, which could position him to step into Flowers' role in the Ravens' offense if Flowers is sidelined. In deeper fantasy leagues, Wester could be worth targeting on the waiver wire ahead of Week 2.
