Who Should I Start? Julio Jones or Chase Claypool

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Julio Jones (concussion) was diagnosed with a concussion following a hard hit in the second quarter of Monday night's wild-card playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and has been ruled out for the rest of the game. Before taking the hard shot that left him concussed, the 34-year-old veteran caught three passes for just 22 yards. The Eagles are also without top receiver A.J. Brown (knee), so DeVonta Smith, who leads the team with four catches for 100 yards, and tight end Dallas Goedert (three catches for 11 yards and a touchdown) should continue to be a big part of Philly's passing game as they look to come from behind to beat the Bucs. Quez Watkins could also get more involved through the air in the second half. If the Eagles come back and win this game, Jones could be unavailable for the Divisional Round in Detroit against the Lions.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Chase Claypool has been the most consistent receiver through OTAs so far in Buffalo, according to Bills beat writer Matt Parrino. Claypool signed a one-year contract with the Bills earlier this month and is expected to have a depth role in the offense in 2024. However, the 25-year-old has performed well through the early part of OTAs and is making a strong case to not only make the 53-man roster but have a steady role in this offense. Currently, the Buffalo wide receiver room consists of Khalil Shakir, veterans Curtis Samuel and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Florida State rookie Keon Coleman, who was drafted with the 33rd overall pick this spring. This is a story to monitor over the course of the offseason, as Claypool could be an enticing late-round pick in deeper leagues if he earns a starting role in this offense.
