Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert had his worst game of the season, completing 22 of 29 passes for 166 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the team's 27-10 loss to the Washington Commanders. The offense looked disorganized, burdened by costly penalties and sloppy play for most of the afternoon. Herbert also led the team in rushing with four carries for 60 yards, showing how often he was pressured behind a depleted offensive line. Herbert has been hit 35 times in the last three games, as a wave of injuries on the offensive line continues to mount. As the team prepares for Week 6 against a struggling Miami Dolphins defense, the Chargers might need to rely more on the passing game since they just placed rookie running back Omarion Hampton (ankle) on IR. Herbert should have a chance to bounce back if his offensive line can give him some protection.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love had an awesome game for fantasy managers who started him in Week 4 against Dallas, tossing three touchdown passes to wide receiver Romeo Doubs and piling up 337 passing yards. Love finished as QB6 in Week 4, his first weekly finish as a top-ten quarterback since Week 6 of last season. It was also Love's first game with over 40 passing attempts since Week 4 of 2024. Passing volume isn't a regular thing for the Packers; it's an anomaly. The Packers would rather play tough defense and run the ball to set up the pass than the opposite. Another excellent matchup looms as the Cincinnati Bengals head into Lambeau Field to take on the Packers in Week 6. Love is a fringe starting quarterback for fantasy managers, but history has shown us that the game he had in Week 4 is more the exception rather than the rule.
