Justin Herbert Struggles In Week 12 Loss

Monday, November 27, 12:29 AM

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert struggled against the Baltimore Ravens defense in a Week 12 20-10 loss. Herbert attempted 44 passes, completing 29 of them for 217 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He added 47 yards on four carries but lost a fumble as well, while taking three sacks for 24 negative yards. As usual, Herbert made some throws that few humans on Earth could make, but play calling was an issue again, as were drops and limited receiving talent beyond Keenan Allen. A matchup against the Patriots in Week 13 should be a little friendlier to Herbert and the rest of the Chargers offense.

Jordan Love Explodes For Three Touchdowns On Thanksgiving

Thursday, November 23, 6:43 PM

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love completed 22 of 32 passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns, adding three carries for 39 yards, during the team's 29-22 win over the Detroit Lions. The 25-year-old played a near-perfect game in the upset win over the Packers division rival, making clean throws and big gains throughout the contest. Love has been improving not only for fantasy purposes but as an overall passer the past month, and he has now put his team into playoff contention with a critical win over Detroit. Next week's matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs is less than ideal, but with matchups against the New York Giants, Tampa Bay, and Carolina up after next week, the Packers quarterback will be a favorite of the streaming community. Love will be on the lower-end of the streaming list next week but should be added in all leagues with his juicy three-game slate after Week 13.
