Kyren Williams Goes Over 100 Rushing Yards, Scores in Dominant Win Over Saints

Sunday, November 2, 10:32 PM

Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams wasn't involved in the passing game at all on Sunday, but he was efficient on the ground in the team's 34-10 victory over the visiting New Orleans Saints in Week 9. Williams had some nice volume in this one, handling a season-high 25 carries for a season-high 113 rushing yards and his third rushing touchdown of the year. It was the 25-year-old's first 100-yard rushing game in 2025. Williams hasn't been all that explosive on the ground for the Rams this year, but it was nice to finally see him top the century mark in a plus matchup with a positive game script all day. The former fifth-rounder has been more of an RB2 for fantasy managers this year in a Rams offense that prefers to air it out with the arm of quarterback Matthew Stafford. Still, Williams should be considered a must-start in a big Week 10 divisional contest next Sunday versus a banged-up San Francisco 49ers defense.

Trey Benson Not Practicing Wednesday, Cardinals Taking it Day by Day

Wednesday, November 5, 5:13 PM

According to Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic, Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon did not make it sound likely that running back Trey Benson (knee) would return from Injured Reserve to play in Week 10 against the division-rival Seattle Seahawks this Sunday. "He's doing well. Take it day by day there. He's not gonna be out there today, but he is doing better. What does close mean? I don't know what close means. Take it day by day," Gannon said. The 23-year-old is not practicing on Wednesday, and the Cardinals have yet to open his 21-day practice window to return from IR. Benson is making progress after having arthroscopic surgery on his meniscus, but it sounds like he won't play this weekend. Benson should be stashed in all fantasy formats, as he will be the team's RB1 when he's healthy. In the meantime, Arizona will continue to mix and match in their backfield with Bam Knight, Emari Demercado, and Michael Carter. It's not an ideal situation for fantasy managers.
